A multidisciplinary artist and designer originally
from Bangladesh, raised between Dhaka and Dubai until
he moved to New York City in 2016 to pursue fine arts
and architecture. Where he completed his BFA.AD
and M.Arch degree at Parsons School of Design.
His childhood, as well as meaningful family events
and wounding memories were formative to how he views
the world and expresses his art and design. His love
for art, design and object making remains a crucial
part of his identity. He believes and finds joy in
any form of creation that unearths purely from one’s
soul. His process is concentrated into one or two
art projects a year, created after spending substantive
time thinking them through. He prefers peace, pace,
silence and breaks from art in order to create with
honesty in the pool of highly commercial and globalized
society.
His architectural practice follows a simliar pattern,
selectively enegaded in private and self funded projects.
Embracing patrience and true design rather than the rush
of growing a portfolio.
In 2023 he relocated to Vancouver, Canada
in search of architecture, a slower pace of life
as well as to be closer to nature. A place that
allows him to think. Currently he is in between
Asia and Europe.
